Great tacos and great salsa.  The breakfast tacos are good but not wildly better than you would get st a lot of places in town.  Salsa selection bumps them up a notch.  The test of the menu is what sets it apart.  I'm yet to have anything I didn't like from fish to steak to shrimp to pork belly .  Great tacos.  Queso is very good as well.  The only thing I would improve is better coffee ( but this is true of almost every where).  This location is generally mobbed.  Parking is a pain.

Food [4/5] - Austin is full of great taco spots, in this one is around the 75th percentile for me. There are extensive options with respect to both types of meat and individual tacos, and I have yet to be disappointed by anything I've eaten here.

Service [3/5] - Can take a while for tacos to come out, especially if it's crowded.

Ambiance [3/5] - Nothing special here, though it's nice that there are windows along two whole sides of the building. You can't go wrong with eating in or taking out.

Value [4/5] - The tacos are pretty normally priced for Austin, ranging from $3-5 depending on ingredients. Expect a filling meal to cost you around $15.

the tacos were... alright. nothing special. in a way, i guess they were good for a gentrified taco place. my order kinda took forever and my friend got her food way before i did, but they apologized about the wait.

I got the carne asada and the shrimposito. i ordered the shrimposito with no queso fresco which may have been the reason it looked like they just slapped saucy shrimp on a tortilla. but nonetheless, it didn't taste that bad. for the firey look of the shrimp though i kinda expected it to have a stronger flavor kick.

the carne asada was alright - the meat was a tad tough but personally i don't mind that, and i found that the meat tasted quite well seasoned.

both tacos were a little pricy for what you get. overall it's what i expected from a gentrified taco place, not too good not too bad.

I'm laughing so hard right now! Every couple years I pop into one of these places and order a few tacos to see if the service gets any better (and of course they taste great), but every single freaking time they find a way to mess up my order! This has got to be ten times in a row. I'm over being annoyed...now I enjoy having the story to tell. I figure trying new locations would help. Nope! Every time they find a way to short me a taco or give me the wrong item or ignore my special allergy request. This time it was two wrong items and one short. Why don't I check my order you ask? Because this ain't Mickey D's you special little snowflakes. I'm lovin' it though.

Extra star for employing so many special needs people.

It's good, but I've had better. Salsa definitely bumps it up a notch. I got the fantastico, al pastor, and ticken xic. Of the three, the fantastico was the best. Good consistency and a must have if this is your first time here. Definitely a great spot if you want a quick bite. Parking can be a pain since it's always packed, so plan accordingly. All in all, a great lunch spot!
